Drone light shows in Belgium

A drone show can turn the sky into one shared stage for a multilingual audience.

Across Belgium, FlightShows creates bespoke shows using imagery, movement, music and carefully chosen words for brands, public events, corporate occasions and private celebrations.

One show, several audiences

Belgium has three official languages: Dutch, French and German, and many major events also attract international guests.

A drone show does not need to answer that by putting three versions of every sentence into the sky.

Visual storytelling is one of the things the medium does exceptionally well. Recognisable imagery, movement, music, colour and carefully chosen words can carry an idea across a mixed audience without turning the performance into a noticeboard.

For a brand, that could mean using products, colours and campaign imagery to build towards one final identity reveal. For a public event, it could mean telling a story through symbols and images people recognise immediately. For a private celebration, the references can be specific to the people watching.

We storyboard the progression before detailed animation begins, so the show has a beginning, development and ending rather than a sequence of unrelated pictures.

A reveal the whole audience sees at once

Some of the strongest drone-show moments are deliberately simple.

A logo. A name. A number. One final word.

The impact comes from how the show earns that moment.

We can begin with abstract movement, introduce themes from the event, build pace with the soundtrack and gradually take the audience towards the final image. When the reveal arrives, it is not simply branding made from drones. It is the resolution of a piece of live entertainment.

Our background in theatre and touring production strongly influences that way of working. We think about cues, pacing and where the audience’s attention should be at each point in the show.

From private celebrations to major public events

The same technology can create completely different experiences.

Our 300-drone SM60 production in Mallorca told one person’s life story through his interests, family, journeys and shared memories. Our Guernsey Liberation Day production used a completely different creative language to communicate a shared story to a much larger audience.

A Belgian corporate launch, city event, festival and private celebration should not receive variations of the same show with different logos at the end.

We start with the event, then decide what belongs in the sky.

Scale the production around the idea

FlightShows has access to thousands of show drones across Europe.

That means we can create a few-hundred-drone production where that is exactly right, or scale much further when the imagery, audience and event benefit from it.

More drones can provide more resolution and scale, but the fleet number is not the creative idea. The important question is what the audience needs to see, understand and feel.

We recommend the scale once we know the brief.

Planning a drone show in Belgium

You do not need to solve the site or airspace before you speak to us.

Send us the proposed location as part of the initial enquiry. We will assess the site and surrounding airspace from the start, discuss the audience and event layout, and work with you and the venue on the best way to make the show work.

Belgian UAS requirements are administered by the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority, with Droneguide providing geographical-zone information for individual locations.

FlightShows handles all the aviation planning. We assess the site and airspace during the initial consultation, prepare the operational documentation and handle the permissions, notifications and coordination required for the show.

Create one moment the whole Belgian audience shares

If your event brings different languages, communities or guests together, a drone show can give everyone the same focal point in the sky. Tell us what the moment needs to communicate and we will build the show around it.

What does a drone show in Belgium cost?

Bespoke outdoor drone shows in Belgium start from €30,000, plus travel.

How long does a Belgian drone show take to plan?

If you can involve us around two to three months before a Belgian event, that gives us a good working window for both the creative and aviation planning.

Large public programmes or more ambitious bespoke shows benefit from longer, but if the date is closer it is still worth asking us.

A date and proposed location are enough to start the conversation.
