- How long does a drone show last?A typical drone show lasts around 10 minutes. This is usually the best length to keep audiences engaged. Depending on what you’re looking for, we can make longer or shorter drone shows.
- How long does it take to plan a custom drone show?Custom drone shows can sometimes be created in as little as two weeks! However, we recommend allowing around 8–10 weeks where possible, giving plenty of time to develop the creative, make any changes and ensure everything is ready for the show. Project Proposal
Once we have an idea of what you’re looking for, we’ll create a proposal of what your drone show will look like, including the cost.

On-site Survey
To ensure the site is suitable and safe for a drone show, we will carry out a site survey and may even create a 3D map of the area.

Animation & Soundtrack Meetings
Through initial creative meetings, we will scope the animation and soundtrack requirements of the show. From here, we will go away and come back with some samples and a storyboard.

Soundtrack & Storyboard Approval
We will present a detailed storyboard aligned with the finalised soundtrack. Your sign-off on this combined milestone locks in the show’s key designs, order, and overall flow. Once approved, our production teams will begin animating the movement of the show and synchronising the visual lighting effects directly to the music.

Animation Presentation
Here you will see the full animation in a 3D format. This will give you an opportunity to see the show as your audience will see it, and make any edits to the lighting or colouring in the shapes.

Animation Approval
The final stage of the digital process, allowing us to take the next step and test-fly your show in the real world.

Test Flights
We will often test-fly your show off-site in a remote location. This means we can ensure safety and quality before presenting our work to your audience.
