SM60: a 300-drone life story in Mallorca

For a private party in Mallorca, FlightShows created a completely bespoke 300-drone show built around the life of the client.

Golf, sailing and swimming appeared alongside a Spitfire, family references and playful callbacks to earlier parties. The animation included a yacht, golfer, golf buggy, swimming pool, heart, personalised text and other imagery created specifically for the occasion.

The individual pictures were only part of it. The show moved through those ideas as a story, with music and animation carrying the audience from one chapter to the next. Guests recognised the references as they appeared, and their laughter and applause became part of the experience.

That is the real opportunity with a bespoke drone show. It can take something meaningful to one audience and turn it into a piece of live entertainment that could not simply be lifted out and performed for somebody else.

You do not need to work out the aviation or site requirements before contacting us.

Send us the date and proposed location during the initial enquiry. We will assess the site and surrounding airspace straight away, talk through the audience and event layout, and work with you and the venue on the best way to make the production work there.

FlightShows handles all the aviation planning for the project. In Spain, we work within the requirements administered by AESA, assess the location-specific airspace, prepare the operational documentation and manage the permissions, notifications and coordination needed for the show.

You do not need to become an expert in Spanish drone regulation. We will tell you and the venue what information we need and handle the aviation process from there.
