Newquay, we’re bringing a story in the stars to your Bonfire Night weekend.
On Friday 6 November 2026, FlightShows will be joining WAX Events at Newquay Sports Centre for the Newquay Fireworks & Drone Show. We’ll be delivering the Celebration of Cornwall drone show, bringing a little Cornish character to the sky before the evening’s fireworks.
With live music, street food and plenty to keep the family entertained, there’s every reason to arrive early and make an evening of it.
A Celebration of Cornwall in the Sky
Cornwall is the inspiration for our show, with moving images and formations celebrating the place and what makes it special. At 7.15pm, the audience will be able to look up and watch that celebration unfold above Newquay.
Part of the fun of a drone show is spotting what the lights are becoming as each picture takes shape. Sharing that moment with a crowd is what we love about bringing stories to the sky, and Cornwall gives us a brilliant subject.
If you’ve been wanting to see a drone show in person, this is a chance to enjoy one as part of a proper night out, with the fireworks still to come.
Live Music and Street Food
WAX has put together a programme that gives you plenty to enjoy between the displays. The music line-up includes The Budgie Smugglers and DJ Beaker, while local independent traders will be serving street food.
There will also be children’s rides and attractions, plus ten or more bars and drinks outlets across the event. Come along with the family, meet up with friends, grab something to eat and settle in for the night.
After the drone show, the live music returns before the main fireworks display at 8.30pm. An adults-only afterparty runs from 9pm to 11pm, with access included in the adult VIP package.
