Last weekend, FlightShows were proud to join forces with WAX Events to deliver a spectacular evening celebrating all things Cornish at Truro Football Club. The event brought together families, friends, and local communities for a night packed with entertainment – from a charity football match and live music, to a dazzling firework display – all topped off with a one-of-a-kind drone light show designed and delivered by the FlightShows team.
Our show was crafted as a love letter to Cornwall – a region with a rich culture, stunning coastline, and strong community spirit. Set to an uplifting soundtrack blending traditional Cornish tunes and modern, remixed sea shanties, the display lit up the night with hundreds of perfectly synchronised drones moving in harmony above the pitch.
From the iconic Cornish pasty to dolphins leaping through the air, surfers riding waves, and even a tribute to the Cornwall Air Ambulance, each formation was designed to celebrate the heart and heritage of the region. Every image told a story, and every transition was carefully choreographed to the rhythm of the music – creating a truly magical experience for audiences young and old.
It was wonderful to see families gathered under the autumn sky, singing along, cheering, and enjoying a shared moment of pride for their home county. The response on the night was incredible – proving once again how drone light shows can unite creativity, technology, and community storytelling in a way that’s both sustainable and unforgettable.
